The rooms were comfortable and the lack of TV and wifi added to the retreat-like atmosphere. the staff were friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant experience overall. One of the highlights of my stay was the peaceful library, where I could relax and unwind. I also enjoyed exploring the ruins on the property and the charming village nearby. the availability of the chapel added to the historic charm of the place. The location of the Whalley is convenient, with easy access to public transport and the thriving village of Whalley. the riverside gardens and abbey ruins make for a picturesque setting. While the rooms are simple, the historic rooms like the lounge, great hall, and refectory are impressive. Overall, the Whalley offers a unique and peaceful retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and historic experience.
